Ok they have me a little worried. I don't know about you, but tonight I'm gonna go through and archive everything I want to keep locally on my various accounts. Maybe it's just time to move on to a new venue? I dunno...

i don't think so.. maybe if you're a paying customer? i'll probably just go to the yearly calendar page and use the "downthemall" firefox extension for now, and see how that works. later i'll probably write a script that puts them into a database, and maybe from there i'll just make my own blog or something.

I have a permanent account, so the crap that's been going down doesn't really impact me. But it would be nice to have an archive elsewhere.

so yeah, i did that, and it worked pretty well. the only thing is, in order to get all the replies to each post, i'd have to go through the same process with each post. I'm not going to do that, not right now anyway, so i may come up with a better method. for now, at least, i have SOMETHING to show for the last 5 or 6 years of journaling.
